HOW WE FUNCTION
When a woman inquires about WICCA she is sent a copy of our Newsletter, "ON WINGS" and the phone number of a member of the nearest Wing. It is up to her to make the next contact by calling and speaking with a WICCA member.
If there is a Wing group meeting in a women's area she may visit on their open meeting night to find out about WICCA and the women in the Wing. Within four weeks of attending a Wing it is time to decide whether she would like to become a member.
A woman does not have to attend a Wing to be an active member. She may also choose to be a lone "feather." As a women becomes a member she enters a path of self growth and joins a community of women who have also made this commitment to their own growth.
There is a $13.00
joining fee. When you pay your joining fee you may attend Wing meetings
and you will receive Feather's Fundamentals, a packet of written materials.
Membership in Women In Conscious Creative Action also entitles you to attend
classes and other workshops at reduced prices. To remain an active member,
a minimum of $5.00 per month tithe/returned blessing is required, unless
special arrangements are made with the council. This money goes to pay
for our community activities, flyers, introductory newsletters, ritual
needs, starting new Wings and other activities.
